So how did we get here today? In 2018 I saw a need for aerial photography in the real estate market. To use a drone for commercial use, real estate, the pilot needs to be part 107 licensed by the FAA. So I took the test and got the license. With my drone in tow I started getting those aerial shots of listings for local agents. I took my knowledge of landscape photography and moved that into the real estate market, getting those balanced sharp images of homes in the greater Memphis area.
Over time the natural transition to incorporate video occurred. More and more people are utilizing video to document life and events. It only made sense for that to trickle into the real estate market. With so many people using the internet during their home search, the agents using video have an advantage. Adding another channel in marketing their listings. At Monarch Productions I use a combination of high quality resolution coming out of top of the line drones and impressive high dynamic range in todays cameras. All shooting and editing are done in house which allows me to get both the images and video back in the hands of clients quickly.
